Oh!

I am pretty sad right now because I just got off the phone with my mom, and she told me that Missy passed away last night. :( She was in my brother's room curled up next to Sonjia when it happened. Noone was in the room at the time as far as I know, but Sonjia was keeping Missy warm, comfortable, and clean up until the very, very end - exactly as it should've been. If ever there were a great love story, this would be it. I wish I could explain it fully, but I can't. You'll just have to trust me.

Moving on...Poofs' spring concert went off super well this past Friday night. Our guest group was loads of fun, and we ended up "partying" at my house after the show. In other words, there were about 50 people in my room. Well, not 50, but between my room and the hallway spillage, there were a good 35-40 a cappella heads then some causing quite the scene in King House. All I know is that I woke up in my room on Saturday morning with the stickiest floor ever, far too much alcohol hidden in random places (apparently Public Safety showed up towards the end), and Alex Weiss on my futon. And since I left for Boston on Saturday to hang out with friends and the like, I didn't really have time to clean it up until, like, tomorrow because I'm going to NYC with Alex in an hour or two to see Elkland with Erasure! Woohoo! So basically we are going to have a rockin' time in NYC. And Boston was super rockin', too, because I went to Anna's twice (!) and got to see a lot of my BU friends (Matt Leonard, Sharky, Dan, Ken...). Plus, I drove around a lot yesterday, admiring all the beauty that is to be had in Boston right now with everything finally in bloom and the sun shining ever-so-brightly.

Annnyway, now that I've been writing away for a couple of weeks, I am finding that my life is sort of uneventful, and it's much harder to be consistently entertaining than I expected. I promise to try very hard to return from New York with lots and lots of stories ripe with scandal and humor to transpose in here, though. Promise.

As for you, have a beautiful day. And keep Missy in your thoughts because she'll be in mine. She was the best friend a human could ever have asked for...
