My, My, My Persona!

With less than 24 hours to go before the Poofs' spring concert, I have finally written my personal ad for tomorrow night. In the end, Snoop Catt was far better in theory than in practice, so I opted for some version of "crazy cat lady" instead. And so, without further ado, I present to you my personal ad - read it and weep, bitches:

Cat-obsessed entomologist ISO gentle M or F for lively company, maybe more...? I'm 5'8" w/ red hair, green eyes, and a sensible figure. Must be allergy-free (I have 5 cats of varying breeds) and willing to accomodate the special needs of an OCD hypoglycemic. Ideally, your interests include pottery, metaphysical poetry, moviegoing (love of Encino Man a plus), and Yanni. E-mail pussylover@gmail.com if you're still reading, and perhaps we can arrange to meet IRL.

As a note, ISO = in search of, M = male, F = female, and IRL = in real life. ;) Jealous? You should be.

And now, to give you an update on Missy, she's still alive. My brother said she is pretty much immobile, but Bob (my stepdad) said she drank water a few times today and even managed to eat a little food. I literally had to force him to send me pictures of her, but he eventually did. She is tiny, and it makes me so sad to see how absolutely attached Sonjia is to her in every picture - they look conjoined in each one that he took today. My mom also left me a message earlier in which she offered to put Missy on the phone with me so I could send her my "special thoughts." Ahhh, that Sharon Nordheim is a character, but in all seriousness, I should probably get on that stat. I still feel silly for getting so worked up about this, but I suppose it's totally reasonable (natural, even) in the end.

And I just got a phone call from my mom, and for the third time since last Friday, our conversation was totally unsuccessful and ended in her hanging up on me. Ugh! WTF? So now that I'm totally frustrated and anxious (again), I think I'm going to call it quits for the night and (hopefully) wake up to a better, brighter day tomorrow. I promise to post tons of picture from jam as soon as I can. Even if it means no sleep before going to Boston and NY, you know I'll do it. 'Cause I'm reliable like that.

So goodnite to you, and you, and you. We'll be in touch. ;)
