Tired

So it's 2:04pm and I'm tired as balls. I think I'm gonna take a power nap. Except for the fact that every time I say that, I end up taking a nap that lasts in excess of two hours. Since I am leaving in a bit to go to Boston to see M83 (yeah, bitches!), that is not an option. I will figure something out.

I didn't end up writing again yesterday because I deemed watching the Miss USA Pageant slightly more important. As it turns out, I made a sound decision. I promise to write about why I will be taking the fall semester off, though, when I have a bit more energy. For now I will just say that I am extremely excited to see Erasure and more importantly, Elkland, in NYC on April 25th. I'm going with my lovely friend, Alex, and we're gonna have the best time ever. I saw Elkland at The Pill at Great Scott in Boston a month ago or so, and it was such a fun, silly show enjoyed with fun, silly friends. April 25th is going to be part two of that, and I can't wait. My enthusiasm is even heightened by the fact that Erasure is responsible for that incredible song, "Always," from the late 80s/early 90s. (Thanks, Lance!) I promise you'd recognize it if you heard it. It's pretty much one of the best comeback songs of all time.

In conclusion, I would just like to apologize for the fact that I have great difficulty in writing concisely. I am pretty notorious for sending unnecessarily long e-mails, and it appears as if this weblog will be no exception to that trend.

Heart!
